Deuteronomy 6:5 You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.

Hello Everyone and Welcome to Seeking God.

My name is Jaime and in 2014 I added blogger to my list of to-do's.

I grew up in the Midwest and have spent much of my life here. I like to travel and when my feet become a little too dry I seek a vacation at the Lake.

I have degrees in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. Before I became a full-time stay-at-home mom, I taught middle school and elementary Special Education.

I have been married to a fantastic man for 10 years and we have three beautiful children. What we like doing most of all is just hanging out as a family.

I have taught in several capacities at the church including Director and teacher of the Children's Programs. I have organized a book sale, called Inspirational Corner, that sold personal and outreach materials. I have been a director and teacher of the Cubbies AWANA program and I have lead Women's Bible Studies.

Above all of those things, my greatest love is seeking to be the women God created me to be. I love learning and teaching God's Word and will continue to share this passion as long as God allows me to do so.

What I love about blogging are the relationships that have been created here. I also feel I have become more intentional in my life. I am always thinking about what I can share with you about how God is affecting my life because I know that we are facing many of the same situations. Maybe the characters aren't the same the stories are. It has been great to reach out my ministry beyond the walls of the church and into the Body of Christ.

I am by no means perfect and I don't pretend to have all the answers.  I love that we are a constant work in progress. I love that our creator will take us right where we are and use us for His glory. Writing here gives me a sense of accountability. Sometimes that can be a bit scary, but I know that God wants me to have a heart seeking Him.

God has blessed me in so many ways and I love having the opportunity to share with other believers and people that are searching for a little bit of heaven's grace to come down and touch their lives. It has been encouraging to share my stories and have the feedback from family and friends like you. I look forward to meeting you in the comment box.

I pray for you as I write and pray that God will continue to use me to reach into your lives.
May God Bless each and every one of you and Happy Reading!

I love connecting with friends so meet me on one of these social media sites.

  4. What I love most is your ability to voice your love for God and His graciousness to all men. So many people are reluctant to say I love the Lord now it seems.

Thanks for you boldness as a Christian

    1. Living a life for Christ was never intended on being easy. If fact, we are to die to ourselves daily and take up our crosses. I can only express the Love that has been so graciously poured out on me. You have given me great encouragement today Linda, glad to be connecting with you!

Seek Him First! Today's Bible Reading

James 1:17
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of Lights with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.

It is of utmost importance that you know that Christ died for you. He died for all sinners so that our relationship with Him could be restored.

Because of His sacrifice on the cross we can have peace. Are you seeking more peace today? Peace of the soul can only be given through the redemptive power of Jesus Christ.

I hope that you, too, know the saving grace of an amazing God.
